The Team
Over 100 Haitian educators. Six Haitian clinical staff. A US board and Pittsburgh office that resources the work. Everyone here has a name.
Founder & President
Born in Haiti, ordained in Pittsburgh. Bishop Pamphile founded FLM Haiti in 1982 with one literacy classroom and a conviction that every Haitian deserves the power to read. Forty-three years later, his ministry has certified 11,000+ learners, built a clinic serving 30,000 patients a year, and launched a technical institute training the next generation of Haitian workers.
"Well being comes through well doing. And well doing begins by showing up."
Haiti ยท Clinic Staff

Haiti ยท Educators
From the Pre-K classroom in Thomassin to the literacy centers in Kenscoff, every FLM educator is Haitian. We invest in their training, certification, and continuing development โ because the best classroom is a well-supported teacher.
